King’s Coronation Celebrations in Blackpool

Blackpool is preparing to play its part in celebrating the King’s Coronation in right royal style on Sunday 7th May and everyone is invited to join us as we celebrate in the way that only Blackpool can.

– The Big Comedy Carpet Coronation Lunch
– A live outdoor screening of the Coronation Concert from Windsor Castle
– An interactive light show on The Blackpool Tower
The resort will mark the historic event with a majestic heritage tram parade along the seafront, a Big Lunch outdoor picnic with free entertainment on the Tower Festival Headland, a live screening of the Coronation concert from Windsor Castle, ending with a dazzling, specially-themed light show on the famous Blackpool Tower.
