Mr Blue Sky Comes to Blackpool
If you grew up with the soaring strings, sweeping harmonies and space-age sound of the Electric Light Orchestra, The ELO Experience at Viva Blackpool is a night you won’t want to miss.
Billed as the UK’s leading tribute to ELO, The ELO Experience has been thrilling audiences in theatres right across the country, from the Manchester Opera House to the Liverpool Empire, and on Saturday 6th March 2027 brings its acclaimed show to the heart of Blackpool, just steps from the Tower.
This isn’t a backing-track tribute. The seven-piece band features live violin and cello alongside guitars, bass, drums and keyboards – complete with that unmistakable vocoder – recreating the rich, orchestral sound of Jeff Lynne’s records note for note.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just love a great night of classic pop and rock, The ELO Experience is a feel-good celebration of one of Britain’s greatest bands.
