How long can we provisionally hold our ideal wedding date before we pay the deposit?
We can hold your preferred wedding date for a maximum of 7 days.
What happens next?
So you’ve found the perfect venue, and you’re ready to book the biggest day of your life… How do you do it?
Just simply access your personalised quote and select the options you require, once you’re happy with the selections and the package, click Accept to confirm your booking and secure your chosen date.
How do I confirm my wedding?
You will be asked to complete a booking form as listed above and sign a contract including our terms and conditions, and a non-refundable deposit of 10% will be required.
Can the number of guests on a package be changed?
Minimum numbers do apply but additional guests can be added.
Remember to always include yourselves in the numbers when writing your guest list and giving numbers to your wedding suppliers.
Your guest numbers may change slightly throughout your planning journey so we advise to always start with the minimum number of guests for booking purposes, and then increase your numbers as we draw closer to the big day.
Final numbers must be given 2 weeks before your Wedding Day at our final Wedding Planning meeting.
How do we choose our preferred menu options?
We have 3 Wedding Breakfast menus and 3 Evening Buffet menus which we will provide as a guide.
However, if you have any alternative ideas in terms of menu preferences we are happy to discuss your ideas to see if we can accommodate your request.
In the run-up to your wedding day, we will invite you in for a menu tasting one evening that is suitable for you; we will serve you 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts so you can choose your favourites.
Following your tasting, we will take you through to the Main Theatre to enjoy one of our in-house shows as our guests.
Do you have an on-site photographer?
We do have an in-house photographer who captures many of our events including our Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, but we must make you aware that he is not an official Wedding Photographer.
We do however have a list of recommended suppliers and their contact details which can be found in this information pack.
How do we choose our room décor / centrepieces?
We offer a range of centrepieces for our Weddings and Events such as balloon bunches in your chosen colour scheme, martini glasses with candles or feathers, tall decorative LED trees, and candelabras just to name a few.
All of these are priced individually so we can discuss this at our initial Guided Tour meeting.
Again, we also work closely with suppliers in the industry so if we don’t have something – we know someone who will!
Is linen included in our package?
All packages include our linen package option.
It is recommended that you choose our linen package as this includes your tablecloths, table runners in your chosen colour scheme, chair covers, and chair bows in your chosen colour scheme. We have white or black linen available for the tablecloths and the chair covers.
We have a range of colours for the runners and the chair bows. Let us know your ideas for your colour scheme and we will let you know if this is available, if we don’t then we will know someone who does.
What is the payment schedule?
Once you have paid your initial 10% deposit there is nothing to pay until 4 weeks prior to your Wedding Day when the final balance is due in full.
Payments can be made in Cash, Cheque, or via Bank Transfer. If making a payment via Bank Transfer you will find our Banking Account Details at the bottom of your Invoice.
Please use your invoice number as the Reference for each payment.
Your final balance is due 2 weeks before the date of your Wedding/Event. Many of our clients prefer to make monthly payments via Bank Transfer so please include the relevant reference with each payment.
Would you recommend wedding insurance?
Yes, we highly recommend that every wedding at Viva Blackpool has the appropriate insurance to give you peace of mind for your special day.
What do I need to do to book my Civil Ceremony at Viva Blackpool?
Once you have booked your wedding with us you can then contact the registry office from 1 year in advance of your wedding date. You can contact them on 01253 477177 to book your ceremony time.
You will also have to give notice of marriage to the superintendent registrar of the district in which you live.
Please note there will be a separate fee payable to the registry office – They will be able to advise you of this.
At what stage do we go through finer details of the day?
Once you have booked your wedding our Wedding Coordinators are on hand throughout the planning process should you have any questions?
We will have several meetings along the way and we will keep updating your file which holds all the information about your booking and your special day.
We will invite you back to the venue six weeks before your wedding to go through finer details. From this time you will have a single point of contact to discuss any alterations or queries you may have leading up to your special day.
We will then meet again two weeks before your wedding to go through everything once more, which is when we require final numbers, a copy of your table plan, and any dietary requirements.
