Viva Blackpool Is Set To Shine Brighter Than Ever Before With Even More Sensational Stars Taking To The Stage In 2018!

A sensational singing superstar, three comedy legends and some iconic Eurovision winners are just some of the entertainers announced on Viva Blackpool’s 2018 entertainment schedule, as it begins to roll out next year’s events super-early, to provide visitors with the opportunity to bag the best seats in the venue.

Viva is thrilled to be welcoming back the hilariously controversial Roy Chubby Brown (all throughout the year) as well as comedy duo Cannon & Ball (6th April) and comedian and entertainer Duncan Norvelle (25th March) to Viva to add a brilliant mix up of unique Comedy.

Also returning for another superb season is the ever-popular and Viva favourite, Joe Longthorne, who will take the Valentine’s Day slot next year to provide couples with a romantic evening full of the stars greatest hits. Speaking of hits, the Blackpool legend will also be host to two very different, but each just as spectacular as the other, live shows.

The Joe Longthorne Show, which will run from April to November, will include an outstanding performance by Joe and feature an incredible live band, whereas Joe Longthorne’s Music Hall Matinees, which will run from May to November, will include a variety of entertainment which will all be led by Joe. As they say, there isn’t a show like a Joe show!

And it wouldn’t be Viva without some iconic high-quality tribute acts and the venue is not set to disappoint with a whole host of terrific tributes taking to the stage in 2018! From Craig Harrison (Michael Jackson – The Legacy) on the 15th February, Chris Connor (The World Famous Elvis Show) on the 2nd April, The Upbeat Beatles (In honour of the Beatles) on the 4th May, Malcolm Pitt (Lionel Richie Songbook) on the 15th June and reoccurring weekly again next year, The Jerseys, just to name a few!

Not forgetting Viva’s resident shows, which will run again all year round. With Early bird discounts on offer to all in-house shows. The first is the top-ranked by customer satisfaction ratings, glitzy, glamourous, spectacular Vegas-style cabaret show, ‘Viva!’, Starring Leye D Johns and the Viva Showgirls, for which tickets are currently on sale from just £19.00.

Tickets for ‘Oh What A Nite’ with the enormously popular all-male quartet, The Jerseys are also available from £19.00.

It’s 2018 season will also feature the world’s greatest rock and roll band, Showaddywaddy (5th January), the legendary Les McKeown (6th January) and singing sensation Sam Bailey (10th June) plus many other fantastic entertainers still waiting to be announced!

With other brilliant shows in store for 2018 such as hit magic, illusion & circus show, High Jinx Magic performed by the talented Michael Jordan and Sideshow Tricks performed by the mesmerizing Mark James, plus the much loved Comedy Club with resident host Ryan Gleeson, Viva is raising the bar for entertainment shows for all the family in the next upcoming year.

Managing Director, Martin Heywood, says: “Viva caters for everyone, regardless of whether they are nine or ninety years old and our 2018 schedule reflects this.  Our aim is to put memories back into Blackpool and we are delighted to be able to do this by bringing some of the entertainment world’s top names to Viva.

We also believe in delivering value for money throughout the year, but our current early bird offers deliver even better value and have been created to enable people to buy tickets as Christmas gifts, so our advice is to choose your show and get the tickets popped into Santa’s sack.

Next year is going to be bigger and better than even before and people should come and see why we were crowned ‘Best Large Visitor Attraction’ in Blackpool!”

Tickets can be booked online at and attract no card charges.  Specific seats at Viva shows in 2018 will be allocated with the ticket, rather than being on a first-come-first-served basis as in the past.  Pricing is banded by Premier, Standard and Bar Table seating and dinner-and-dine options are available, with a menu that now weaves the former Classic menu together with the fine dining menu and enables guests to opt for the type of meal that suits their dining preferences best.
