Tier 3 Restrictions – Viva Blackpool Announcement

TIER 3 – VIVA BLACKPOOL ANNOUNCEMENT

Following the announcement from the UK Government earlier today, there has been a slight change in Covid-19 policy for Lancashire which will enter tier 3 (VERY HIGH) from Saturday 17th October.
We have now consulted with Blackpool Council, and our partners & cast and THE SHOWS WILL GO ON THIS WEEKEND AS PLANNED – including the Joey Blower Show, Viva Vegas Live and The Jersey Beats
⭐️ As Viva Blackpool is primarily a performance venue – we will be allowed to remain open and host performances at this time
☝️ Our box office team have already been calling around all bookings to ensure that the ‘No Indoor Mixing Rule’ is adhered to. Only one household/support bubble only per table, our team will be asking you to confirm this on entry to Viva Blackpool (and the Viva Vegas Diner & Bar
🍻 Alcohol will only be served with a substantial meal. Soft drinks are available to those not booked into dine with us and there will be food options available tomorrow afternoon, and on Saturday Sunday evening to purchase for those who wish to enjoy an alcoholic beverage. We will publish a list of food options shortly
Existing measures still in place
🗳 Track & Trace is a requirement of entry – and details are taken when booking which will be used for our track and trace requirements
😷 Mask’s are a legal requirement on entry and when moving around Viva Blackpool, unless you are exempt.
🪑 Table service only – and all tables are socially distanced. We will be enforcing the rules with additional security going forwards
🕙 The Bars will close and stop serving at 10pm, however the show is permitted to carry on for a short time past 10pm
🧼 Enhanced cleaning and sanitising of our premises will be in operation
🤚 Staff regularly wash and sanitise hands.
🤒 Staff complete a health assessment at the beginning of each shift which includes a temperature check.
🔼 One-way system in place
We have taken this decision due to our advanced ticket holders having already planned their trips, and on consultation with many ticket holders they are already travelled and at their hotels and wish to attend the show this weekend.
We also wish to support all local partners and hotels – and we are undertaking an additional staff training session in the morning to raise the bar in terms of safety and compliance
For those who do not wish to attend, or cannot make the show – OUR FLEXIBLE BOOKING POLICY APPLIES
