Update: 22/09/2020 – THE SHOWS WILL GO ON (AT A SLIGHTLY EARLIER TIME)
Following today’s update from the government, we are committed to ensuring our customers still have a great night out to enjoy despite the earlier curfew being imposed across all sectors of hospitality.
With this in mind, our show start times will be brought forwards to a 7pm start so we can ensure the venue can close as instructed for 10pm.
We would also advise customers that all bar and food service will be table service only, and that we recommend pre-ordering drinks packages to ensure a swift drinks service on arrival – and bulk buying drinks during the evening (Bottles of Wine, Beer Pitchers etc.) to keep table ordering to a minimum.
In order to adhere to the latest guidelines, we will also be requesting all customers arrive at the venue wearing a mask which should be worn whilst you are shown to your seats or moving around the venue. Masks can be taken off when seated at your table.

Viva Blackpool – Coronavirus Latest Information
We are announcing the temporary closure of Viva Blackpool & the Viva Vegas Diner & Bar, with immediate effect, following the government’s press conference on Tuesday 17 March.
Managing Director Martin Heywood said:
“Our primary concern is the well being and safety of our guests and staff and, following further advice from the government, it is with regret that we announce the temporary closure of Viva Blackpool as of today, Tuesday 17 March 2020.”
We will continue to follow the advice issued by the government and will be in contact with bookers of any affected shows to arrange rebookings etc. These are very challenging times for everyone and, as a small independent business, we are very grateful for the continued support and patience of our customers. It is incredibly humbling to receive so many supportive messages and kind words from our guests and partners as we try and navigate what is a unique and complex situation.
We intend to remain in contact, keeping everyone up-to-date as the situation progresses. In the meantime, our Box Office team will be in touch with all guests who have bookings affected by our temporary closure as quickly as possible, though please also be aware that from Wednesday 18 March our Box Office on Church Street will be closed to the public.
Viva Blackpool will attempt to rearrange any event affected by the ongoing situation and all tickets purchased will continue to be covered by our Flexible Booking Policy (Click here for more information) in order to provide reassurance and peace of mind to guests. Guests affected by a postponement, rearrangement or cancellation will be contacted directly as soon as we are able.

Covid-19 Refund Policy
The safety and well-being of our customers and staff are our utmost priority, and therefore in light of the current Coronavirus outbreak, (following strict government advice) we have postponed and rescheduled all shows and events up until, and including, Sunday 30th June 2020.
As our venue is currently non operational, we are working with a very small admin team who will contact you via email or telephone in regards to bookings for upcoming events and shows. All current bookings are being moved to an alternative show date OR being applied as a credit note to your customer record which can be used at a later date of your choice.
We ask you politely to refrain from contacting us until our admin team have been in touch with you directly. As a thank you for keeping your money on customer credit with us, we will add another 25% on the value of your credit to use for show, dining and pre-order drink purchases.
We will deal with customer payment refund requests (back to your card or bank) when we are able to welcome more of admin team back to work. If your refund request is very urgent, please apply in writing to email@example.com Please note refunds do not include the booking fees.

For future events that are still scheduled, you’re all set. There’s nothing you need to do. If anything changes, we will contact you with updates.
If your event has been rescheduled, we are working through all bookings in date order and we will contact you as soon as we have more information.
